29th June 2022
In the latest app update (v4.10.0), new assets have been found which point to pairing your Wall Connector in the Tesla app.
Update: This functionality has now been enabled for users in the United Kingdom. We haven't been able to verify if this is available outside of the UK at the moment so check back soon.

It's common knowledge that the Tesla Wall Connector, whilst reliable, is a dumb charger - meaning that most home chargers come with smart functionality and are manageable via the cloud. With Tesla's own home charger, this hasn't been the case.
In 2020 with the release of the Gen-3 Wall Connector, Tesla introduced WiFi connectivity, which is how you set them up - compared to Gen-2, which required physical dip-switches to be moved to configure the units.
Unfortunately this never led to any *actual* smart functionality and whilst there has only been a couple of OTA updates, you've never been able to manage the connector via any apps or websites. This may be changing with a future update though.
In the latest app breakdown by @tesla_adri, version 4.10.0 contains a handful of new assets and strings which point to pairing and configuration directly in the Tesla app.
App Version 4.10.0 is out. Seems like you can now pair your wallconnector with the tesla app. Tons of wallconnector related strings added. Tesla also added a new folder called "wallconnector_pairing" containing these assets: https://t.co/kUGWH97IaY pic.twitter.com/Ra360MVq8h

What is the Tesla Wall Connector?
Wall Connector is compatible with Tesla Model S, 3, X, Y and all EV’s with a Type 2 charging port and is capable of providing up to 44 miles of range per hour of charge, with up to 16.6kW on Model S or X on a Three Phase Connection / 48 amp output, depending on model.
Connecting the Wall Connector to a local Wi-Fi network enables it to receive over-the-air firmware updates, remote diagnostics access and usage data tracking capability. Firmware updates will be automatically sent to the Wall Connector to improve the user experience and introduce new features.
